   The whois record for xero.com talks about “Xero Live Ltd”, and the registrant has an “accounting20.com” email address; that latter domain is held by Rod Drury.

   Hmmmm… how about a web 2.0 approach to small business accounting? That could be one explanation for the name…

   Good timing with MS releasing Microsoft Accounting Express for free. Can do a good comparison when it drops.
